RecurDyn是由FunctionBay公司开发的基于相对坐标系完全递归算法的新一代多柔性体动力学仿真软件，非常适合处理复杂机械系统的刚柔-柔柔耦合、复杂接触与碰撞等方面的问题，并且具备求解效率高、速度快的特点，非常适合处理诸如发动机、齿轮箱、履带、链条等高速动力-传动系统。这个之前多有介绍，在此不详细说明。

Particleworks是由Prometech公司开发的基于运动粒子半隐式法（MPS）的先进CFD软件，有别于传统的FVM法CFD软件，Particleworks使用无网格法，用运动粒子流体进行离散，即可以模拟牛顿流体也可以模拟非牛顿流体，并且更方便于研究流体的喷射、飞溅、自由液面形态等FVM法比较难解决问题。

RecurDyn与Particleworks的组合，构成了一套非常适合处理机械润滑问题的流固耦合仿真方案。目前RecurDyn-Particleworks流固耦合方案的工程应用已超过十年，积累了大量的工程案例.

Prometech Software Inc. has released ParticleWorks 6.0, is a CFD software package based on particle method. Engineers can model and analyze free surface flow, large deformation, and coupled phenomena including fluid, powder and rigid body.
